What a great reminder to all of us that we can slow down and settle in. I've been bouncing around too many creative pursuits myself and really want to push myself a little bit farther in my ceramics and sewing journey.

Cheers to you for having this realization and sharing with us all! Excited to see what you get up to in the studio!

There is probably a season for bouncing around and gathering ideas and inspiration and then a season for narrowing things down again, maybe. I think slowing down and being present with what you are doing can only be a good thing, especially in this small attention span world we live in now!

Good on you for wanting to personalise and document your creative journey through this newsletter. I really love the honest way you write and will be looking forward to reading about and 'seeing' more beautiful creations you make. Way to go Esta!

Awe thanks! I think this might help me do a better job of documenting my progress too as usually I just go head first into making things without taking photos :)

It’s so wonderful to witness a creative person (you) giving themselves permission to take a different path. Yay, you. (Your

pieces posted here take my breath away.)

Awe thank you, I hadn't really thought of it that way. When I first started my newsletter I wanted to be flexible with it and not try to follow trends or anything that didn't feel right to me. This was just another one of those moments I think.

I'm here for this pivot, Esta! Good job for knowing yourself and what sounds fun to you. I LOVE to see what you are working on/making, so I'll be keeping my eyes out for your first collages and lampshades!! Yay!!

I think that's the great thing about doing your own newsletter, you get to dictate what it looks like! I've just got to get better at taking photos of my work in progress now, I get too carried away with the making and don't document things as I go 🤣
