Seek to Make is an exploration of creativity and making. Each month, I share a monthly theme around making, showcase inspiring makers, share tips, tools and encouragement. Together let's get curious and immerse ourselves in the art of making!
OCTOBER: NOTEBOOKS
Hello makers,
What a month of delicious handmade notebook inspiration! I really hope you have enjoyed receiving these posts and feel inspired to get creative. I started this project with the aim of giving myself more creative challenges, of pushing myself to explore and try new ideas.
I could have done this on my own, but I wouldn’t have! The act of sharing SEEK TO MAKE with a community of like-minded people has helped give me the accountability I needed (I’m an Obliger if you have read Gretchen Rubin’s The Four Tendencies book, we need accountability).
So thank you for coming along on this journey so far. And well done if you had never made a notebook before but tried it for the first time! I would love to see where your curiosity took you this month. Even if it was just getting a different book from the library, or folding some paper in a new and interesting way, or experimenting with materials a little.
If you weren’t really into the notebook theme, that is ok and that is a big part of what this newsletter is all about. I started this project as a way explore my own curiosity and creativity. I won’t be into each and every theme either, but I love sharing the inspiration and I want to learn more about myself as I go.
For example, I now know that I want to experiment a little more with watercolours and paper and thread. And I now have a lovely little collection of notebooks that will make great stocking fillers this Christmas!

I’ll be sharing a whole new theme starting the 1st of November. But until then, I would love your feedback. I have put together three short questions that I would love your comments on. Please click the button below and help me to make Seek To Make work for you:
Thanks again and happy making!
